D6 Final: Lumen Christi 56, Lansing Catholic 18.
Lumen Christi led by Kadale Williams with 314 yards rushing (Finals Game Record) and 5 TD’s. Kadale ends the year with 43 TD’s, most by any player in Jackson County and a Top 13 performance in MHSAA history for TD’s in a season. Tremendous Championship game and Season by the Offensive line and lead blocker Isaac Rehberg!
That is the Titans 14th State Championship in football and is now the most by any program in MHSAA history.
This is the 2nd time in program history that the Titans have won 3 Championships in a row (2016, 2017, 2018).
Lumen Christi is the only program in MHSAA history to win three Championships in a row, twice!
With the win, Coach Herb Brogan wins his 12th State Championship (he was an assistant on staff for the other two program Championships).
He has a 421-96 career record (3rd all-time and most by active Coach) and is 12-3 in State Championship games.
