Tom Izzos No.10 was retired as the Spartans played their special exhibition game at
Northern Michigan Michigan State beat their coachs Alma Mater, 70-53, at the Superior
Dome in Marquette. Izzo said he didn’t want the night to be about him, but humbly
accepted the praise of his former school.
