Hailey Wetherby drove in four runs on two hits to lead Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles past Manchester 10-0 on Wednesday. Wetherby doubled in the second inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the first inning, scoring one.

Wetherby struck out 14 batters on the day. The right-handed pitcher also allowed zero hits and zero runs over six innings while walking one.

A single by Wetherby on an 0-2 count put Columbia Central Varsity Golden Eagles on the board in the bottom of the first.

Napoleon Varsity Pirates lost to Homer Trojans Varsity 5-1 on Wednesday.

Homer Trojans Varsity got on the board in the second inning after Danica Robinson grounded out, scoring one run.

Payten Minix earned the win for Homer Trojans Varsity. The righty gave up one hit and one run over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking four. Kaitlyn Fall took the loss for Napoleon Varsity Pirates. The starter went six innings, surrendering five runs (four earned) on six hits, striking out five and walking none.

Fall went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.

Brooklen Minix set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Homer Trojans Varsity with two hits in three at bats. Lani Miller and Riley Butler were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Homer Trojans Varsity. Minix stole two bases. Homer Trojans Varsity defeated Napoleon Varsity Pirates 9-1 on Wednesday at TBD thanks in part to five runs in the fourth inning.

Homer Trojans Varsity got on the board in the top of the first inning after Brooklen Minix homered to center field, and Napoleon Varsity Pirates committed an error, each scoring one run.

Homer Trojans Varsity scored five runs on five hits in the top of the fourth inning. Lillian Stemaly singled, scoring one run, Minix tripled, scoring two runs, Riley Butler singled, scoring one run, and Lani Miller singled, scoring one run.

Grass Lake Varsity Warriors scored 11 runs in the third inning, which helped them defeat Jonesville 15-0 on Wednesday.  Aubry Demosiuk (2027) drew a walk, scoring one run, Kennedy Collins (2028) drew a walk, scoring one run, Addalynn Hensen (2026) singled, scoring one run, Emily Brown (2025) hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Leilah Smith (2026) doubled, scoring one run, Bree Salts (2025) singled, scoring one run, Nadene Hubbard (2025) singled, scoring two runs, Demosiuk (2027) singled, scoring two runs, and Collins (2028) singled, scoring one run.

Grass Lake Varsity Warriors got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Hubbard (2025) singled to center field, Collins (2028) doubled to right field, Hensen (2026) hit a sacrifice fly, and Chloe Hollifield (2028) grounded out, each scoring one run.
