Napoleon (5-4-1) split with Michigan Center. Kaitlyn Fall pitched two great games striking out 23 on the night. We just made too many errors (14 on the night) and Michigan Center was very scrappy and came back to win the first game.
Despite leading by as many as four runs, Napoleon Varsity Pirates fell to Michigan Center 10-9 on Monday.
Despite the loss, Napoleon Varsity Pirates did collect six hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Michigan Center had 10 hits on the way to victory.
Michigan Center opened the scoring in the first after an error scored one run.
Napoleon Varsity Pirates flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring five runs on two hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Allison Dillay that drove in two.
Michigan Center tied the game in the top of the seventh thanks to a double by Mckee, a single by Fleming, and a single by Pond.
An error gave Michigan Center the lead, 8-7, in the top of the eighth.
Dillay grounded out, which helped Napoleon Varsity Pirates tie the game at eight in the bottom of the eighth.
In the top of the ninth, Michigan Center broke up the tie when Fleming singled, scoring one run. Then an error followed to extend the lead to 10-8.
Pond earned the win for Michigan Center. The starting pitcher allowed six hits and seven runs (two earned) over nine innings, striking out eight and walking four. Kaitlyn Fall took the loss for Napoleon Varsity Pirates. The hurler went nine innings, giving up eight runs (five earned) on 10 hits, striking out 15 and walking four.
Dillay led Napoleon Varsity Pirates with three runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The right fielder went 1-for-4 on the day. Jenna Yob led Napoleon Varsity Pirates with two hits in four at bats.
Michigan Center collected 10 hits in the game. Mckee drove the middle of the lineup, leading Michigan Center with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-5 on the day. Fleming led Michigan Center with three hits in five at bats. Franks and Pond each collected multiple hits for Michigan Center. Fulk stole two bases.
Hayden Rendall collected three hits in four at bats, as Napoleon Varsity Pirates defeated Michigan Center 10-7 on Monday at TBD. Rendall tripled in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.
Napoleon Varsity Pirates got on the board in the top of the first inning after Camryn Smilowski laid down a sacrifice bunt, and Jenna Yob singled to center field, each scoring one run.
Michigan Center tied the game in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a double by Nutt, an error, and a single by Fleming.

R Anderson took the loss for Michigan Center. The hurler went three and two-thirds innings, giving up four runs on eight hits, striking out four and walking three.
Napoleon Varsity Pirates accumulated 14 hits in the game. Yob provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Napoleon Varsity Pirates with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-5 on the day. Hannah Hamlin, Haven Marker, and Smilowski each collected multiple hits for Napoleon Varsity Pirates.
Mckee provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Michigan Center with four runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Fleming led Michigan Center with three hits in four at bats.

Lumen Christi was tied with undefeated Perry going into the 7th inning when Perry plated 2 runs to pull out the non conference win. Bree Okoniewski and Mallory Arcaro each had 2 hits and Bella Wrozek struck out 11 batters.

Timely hitting and strong pitching propelled the Titans to the game two victory. Lily Ganton, Ollie Powers, and Ava Cumberworth each had 2 hits. Ollie Powers struck out 12 Ramblers to get the win.
